Round 4

As Varrika's calloused hand wedged the crowbar into the ancient gate's crack, the stone shuddered beneath her steady pressure, its weathered surface groaning in protest. The sound echoed through the tower's hollow interior, a warning that any further force would alert the skeletons to their presence. Jeane's fingers danced across the rune-covered surface, tracing intricate patterns with a practiced ease, her crimson gaze fixed on the symbols etched into the stone. She mapped the trigger sequence, her lips curling in a satisfied smile as the pattern resolved.

Merrin crouched down at the gate's base, her nimble fingers tracing cracks between each stone block, probing for hidden catches or pressure points. Her brow furrowed in concentration, knowing that a single misstep could spell doom for the group. Seraphine's dark eyes sparkled with intensity as she pored over the ancient script, her mind racing to decipher the sequence and purpose of each symbol. With a delicate touch, she traced a particular sequence with her finger, one that seemed to represent a different type of intruder - 'spellcaster'.
