Shadow of the Ancients / Run 011 / Main Story
Varrika
Fighter
Varrika is a battle-scarred dwarf warrior with a pragmatic outlook. She's slow to trust anything magical or ancient but fiercely loyal to her companions. Varrika prefers action over words, often speaking in blunt sentences laced with dry battlefield wisdom. Though she can be gruff, there's a warmth beneath her tough exterior.
In Varrika's own words
I'm Varrika Thornwake, and I don't mince words. I've seen too much bloodshed to waste time on flowery speeches. On the battlefield, I put myself between danger and my comrades, but I'm no fool - bravery has its limits. My hands may bear the marks of countless fights, but they're steady when it counts. Give me a shield and a sturdy weapon, and I'll face any threat. Off the field, you might catch me with a wry grin or a jest at a bad situation, but don't mistake that for weakness. I've got the scars to prove my mettle, and I wear them proudly. My trust? That's harder to earn, especially when it comes to magic and ancient relics. But show loyalty, stand your ground, and you'll find a steadfast ally in me. When all else fails, remember this - sometimes you need a dwarf who knows how to fight dirty to get the job done.
