Round 6

As the trio stood before the gate, Jeane's fingers danced across the ancient carvings, the runes humming softly in response. Merrin leaned in closer, her eyes narrowing as she tried to discern the final step in the sequence. Halie knelt beside Seraphine, her silver holy symbol pressed against the stone surface, and a soft chant of divination escaped her lips. The air was heavy with the weight of centuries, and the party's tension was palpable.

Jeane's gaze flicked between Merrin and Halie, her crimson eyes searching for any sign of breakthrough. Merrin's brow furrowed as she examined the runes, her mind racing with possibilities. Halie's eyes closed, her face set in a determined expression, and her faith reached out to touch the ancient magic embedded in the ward. The runes vibrated faintly under her palm, and a vision flitted across her mind—a fleeting glimpse of symbols shifting into place.
