Round 10

As Jeane's violet bolt strikes the rune-etched seals, the air shimmers with magical energy, and the ancient stone groans in protest. Halie's fingers move with deliberate care, tracing the stonework methodically, her eyes scanning for any weakness in the cursed mechanism. Merrin examines the fractured gate, her dark eyes narrowing as she studies the remaining runes, her lips moving silently in a muttered incantation. The sound of shattering stone echoes through the clearing once more, and the skeletons' amber eyes flare with alarm, their undead forms stiffening in response to the weakening magic. Varrika's muscles tense, her grip on the crowbar tightening as she heaves against the gate, slowly forcing it open, the ancient seals shuddering in protest.
