Round 7

As the stone floor shudders once more, Sister Hale's grip on the unholy symbol tightens, its eerie glow illuminating the dark recesses of the church. The scraping sound of stone echoing through the chamber grows louder as Silra works to pry open a hidden compartment, her fingers moving with practiced ease despite the danger lurking beneath their feet. The tension is palpable, heavy anticipation hanging in the air like a challenge.

Sister Hale's voice cuts through the silence, sharp and commanding: "Stop it!" Her words are laced with a sense of urgency, born from the weight of consecrated ground that seems to press down on her shoulders. Silra's eyes flicker toward Sister Hale, a glimmer of understanding passing between them as they share a moment of mutual concern. The air is thick with unspoken questions: what lies beneath their feet, and how will they escape?
