Round 5

As they stand amidst the ancient church's decay, a subtle shift in the stonework betrays the presence of something stirred beneath. The air thickens with displaced dust and an oily residue, a lingering echo of recent excavation. Jeane's symbol pulses with increasing urgency, her eyes locked on Sister Hale as she clutches her hammer's haft. Silra crouches beside the shifting floorboards, tracing faint cracks in the mortar with an elf's practiced gaze. The cleric's voice rings out, sharp and commanding: "Stop it!" Her holy symbol presses against the stone, channeling consecrated power to still the ancient mechanism. The air holds its breath as the movement halts, leaving only a faint hum of stirred earth and the weight of forgotten prayers.
