Round 5

As skeletal warriors shambled into view, their hollow eyes aglow with sickly green light, Jeane's wings unfurled reflexively, her gaze sharp and calculating. Varrika stood firm near the gate, her jaw tightening in grim practicality, while Merrin edged back toward the eastern wall, her fingers twitching at her sides. Halie, clutching her holy symbol, kept a watchful eye on the undead horde. Jeane's voice cut through the tension like silk over steel as she assessed the situation, her words laced with warning: "Necromancy of considerable power animating these remains." Varrika's eyes narrowed, her gaze sweeping over the undead horde, calculating distances and angles. Merrin's eyes darted to the gate, her face a map of unease, as she muttered under her breath, "Not good," and risked a glance at Jeane, whose wings made her a clear target.
