Merrin
Rogue
Merrin Quickstep is a wiry halfling rogue with keen observation skills and a knack for lockpicking. Her nervous energy is offset by her quick wit and gallows humor. Prone to masking fear behind jokes, she's clever but not heartless. As the party's scout, Merrin looks for traps, exits, hidden motives, and profitable opportunities in equal measure. Her compact build and practical leathers make her well-suited for stealth and scouting duties.
In Merrin's own words
I'm Merrin Quickstep, the best damn lockbreaker this side of the Whispering Woods. Born small but quick, I learned early on that a little finesse can open any door - be it made of wood or stone. My eyes catch every detail, my fingers are nimble with a pick, and I'm always on the lookout for the next score or escape route. Don't let my jokes and jests fool you though; there's a healthy dose of caution in this halfling heart. The darkness has teeth, and I aim to stay one step ahead.
