As Merrin pulls Varikka up and over the edge of the pit, The Guardian emerges from the darkness, its eyes fixed on the pair with an unnerving intensity. The ground beneath them gives way once more, and a section of floor crashes down into the depths below, sending up a cloud of dust and debris. Merrin's grip on Varikka's arm tightens as she pulls her close, her voice low and urgent. "We have to keep moving. We can't stay here." Suddenly, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and the air fills with the scent of wet stone. A fast-moving stream has burst forth from the walls, its icy waters swirling around their feet. Varikka's injured ankle screams in protest as she struggles to keep her footing, but Merrin holds firm, her eyes scanning the treacherous terrain ahead. "This way," she says, her voice barely audible over the roar of the water. "The stream will take us somewhere. We just have to find the right path."

As the icy waters swirl around our feet, I can feel the weight of The Guardian's gaze upon us. Varikka's injured ankle screams in protest as she struggles to keep her footing, but I hold firm, my eyes scanning the treacherous terrain ahead. "We have to keep moving," I say, my voice barely audible over the roar of the water. "The stream will take us somewhere. We just have to find the right path."

I know that we're in danger here, surrounded by crumbling walls and relentless pursuit. But I also know that we can't stay still. We have to keep moving forward, even if it means risking everything. With a grunt of effort, I start to wade through the icy waters, my hand clasped tightly around Varikka's. The current is strong, threatening to sweep us off our feet at any moment. But I push forward, my eyes fixed on the path ahead. As we make our way through the churning stream, I can feel the weight of the tower bearing down on us from all sides. The ancient magic is failing, the walls crumbling with every passing second. But I don't have time to be afraid. I have to keep moving, keep pushing forward until we find a way out of this hellish place. Suddenly, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and the air fills with the scent of wet stone.
