Merrin
Rogue
Merrin Quickstep, the wiry halfling scout, is an observant rogue prone to nervous jokes. She looks for traps, exits, and opportunities while masking her fears. With clever hands and alert eyes, Merrin speaks quickly in a light tone that betrays her seriousness when the darkness looms close.
In Merrin's own words
I'm Merrin Quickstep, and I don't like to be caught off guard. Not by traps, not by trouble, and certainly not by emotions running too deep. I keep my eyes open wide and my hands busy, always ready to slip through a crack in the defenses or pick the right lock at the right time. Jokes help me stay sharp when the shadows get close and the magic starts humming with warning. But don't mistake my quips for carelessness - I've earned every scratch on this leathery hide by paying attention to the world around me. When we're facing down an ancient ward or a room full of undead, you'll find me at the front, quick hands and keen eyes leading the way to our best chance at survival.
