Elric's eyes scan the jagged rocks below, desperate for a handhold or foothold to pull her up. He spots a narrow ledge just above the pit trap, but it's too far away. As he weighs his options, the ground beneath Varika's feet gives way once more, sending her tumbling down into the depths. The sound of rushing water grows louder, and Elric knows he must act quickly to rescue her before it's too late.

I struggle against the relentless current, my lungs burning for air. Panic surges through my veins as the river drags me deeper into its icy depths.
