The sound of rushing water grew louder as more liquid poured in from unseen sources. Merrin waded through the icy fluid, her eyes fixed on the source of the noise ahead. The tunnel opened into a massive chamber with a colossal underground lake stretching out before them, its surface glowing with bioluminescent light. Skeletons lined the shores, and a massive tentacle emerged from the depths, thrashing about as if searching for prey.
