Round 143 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As we hurtle toward the light, the Book's power surges around us with increasing intensity, casting an eerie glow on the surrounding darkness. The twisted reflection looms closer, its burning gaze fixed on us, and for a moment, it seems to take the form of a figure standing right behind Merrin. The air rushes past us, and Varrika's hand clutches Merrin's tightly as they plummet through the abyss. Merrin points ahead, and Varrika nods, their eyes fixed on the light growing larger in the distance.
I feel the Book's power surge through my veins as we hurtle towards the distant glow, Varikka's hand clutched tightly in mine. The twisted reflection looms closer, its burning gaze fixed on us, and for a moment, it seems to take the form of a figure standing right behind Merrin. I force myself to ignore it, to keep my eyes locked on that light growing larger in the distance. The air rushes past us as we plummet through the abyss, and I can feel Varikka's grip tightening with each passing moment. Whatever awaits us in this dimension, I know that Varikka and I will face it together. As long as we have each other and the power of the Book, we have a chance. I focus my will on the arcane energy coursing through me, trying to shape it into a protective shield around us as we hurtle towards the unknown. The ground beneath our feet grows ever more distant, but I don't let it deter me. We're running out of time, and that light is our only hope of finding solid ground in this twisted place. "Hold on, Varikka!" I shout over the rush of air, my voice strained with effort. "We're almost there! Just a little further!"
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever lies ahead. Whatever challenges we may face, whatever dangers may lurk in the shadows, I know that as long as I have Varikka by my side and the Book's power at my command, we can overcome anything this dimension throws at us. With a final surge of determination, I hurl us both towards the light, praying to whatever gods might be listening that it will lead us to safety.
My heart pounds as we plummet through the darkness, Varrika's hand clutched tight in mine. The Book's power surges around us, wild and unpredictable, but I focus my will to shape it into a protective cocoon. In the distance, a faint glow appears, our only hope in this twisted dimension. I point it out to Varikka, shouting over the rush of air. "There! A light! We have to aim for it!" Fear grips me at the twisted reflection looming closer, its burning gaze fixed on us, but I force myself to ignore it, keeping my eyes locked on that distant beacon. As we hurtle towards it, I feel Varikka's grip tightening with each passing moment. Whatever dangers may lurk ahead, I know that as long as we have each other and the Book's power, we have a chance. With a final surge of determination, I hurl us both towards the light, praying to whatever gods might be listening that it will lead us to safety.
