Seraphine's keen elven eyes narrow as she surveys the gloomy chamber, her sharp gaze missing nothing in its sweep. The ancient stone walls seem to pulse faintly with residual energies, and the very air feels thick and alive with dormant magic. "This place is... wrong," she murmurs, more to herself than to Jeane. "The architecture is older than the tower itself—much older." She moves closer to examine a section of cracked wall, running her fingers along the intricate carvings that seem to depict some long-forgotten ritual. "These symbols..." Jeane joins her, wings tucked close against her back as she studies the same carvings. "They predate even my people's earliest records," she says softly. "Whatever happened here, it predates the tower's construction by centuries—perhaps millennia." Seraphine meets Jeane's crimson gaze, a shiver running down her spine despite the warmth of the chamber. "Then whatever was sealed beneath us... whatever truly lies at the heart of this place..." She doesn't finish the thought, but both women understand its implications all too well.

As if in response to their discoveries, the massive stone door at the far end of the chamber begins to rumble. The arcane runes etched into its surface flare to life with an eerie blue glow, pulsing in time with the ominous grinding sound. "Jeane," Seraphine breathes, her voice barely audible over the growing roar. "I don't think that door was meant to open." The succubus woman's expression hardens as she draws upon her own magical energies, dark tendrils of shadow coiling around her fists. "Then we'll have to find another way out," she growls. "Before whatever's behind it decides we're unwanted guests."
