The air inside the passage seemed to thicken, heavy with anticipation as Jeane's eyes locked onto the ancient black doors ahead. Seraphine's hand hesitated over the heavy mace at her belt, fingers tightening around the worn hilt. The runes above the doors pulsed with a malevolent energy, casting eerie shadows on their faces. "Are you certain this is our only chance?" Jeane asked, voice laced with concern as she took a step forward. The black metal doors seemed to hum with a low, ominous vibration.

I step closer to the doors, my eyes tracing the writhing patterns etched into the black metal. This isn't just a lock—it's a damn puzzle box with teeth.
