I am Seraphine Vale, scholar of forbidden histories and practitioner of the arcane arts. My life's work is unraveling the secrets hidden in the dusty tomes and crumbling monuments of our world’s forgotten pasts. There is a profound satisfaction to be found in the pursuit of esoteric knowledge, even as it sometimes brings with it a quiet dread at what one might discover. I am drawn to this place, this tower steeped in ancient power, because it calls out to something deep within me—the same part that yearns for the thrill of uncharted mysteries, and fears their price. My robes may be travel-worn, but they are a uniform of sorts—a badge of honor worn by those who dare to seek what others would leave undisturbed in the shadows.
