Phase: resolution · forced · organic escalating

As Sister Hale grasped Gravedigger Renn's trembling form, the massive chitinous limb lunged forward once more, its claws slicing through the air mere inches from her face. The young informant let out a terrified cry as he was knocked to the ground, his body crumpling beneath the impact. Sister Hale swiftly pulled him back to safety, her hand instinctively reaching for the 50 feet of rope coiled at her back.
The air was heavy with tension as she assessed their situation, her gaze locked onto the creature's unblinking stare. The raspy voice whispered an ominous warning, "You should have listened..." The words hung in the air like a death sentence, and Gravedigger Renn's fear seemed to spread like wildfire through his body. With a resolute determination, Sister Hale tightened her grip on the rope, her jaw set in resolve. She knew they couldn't outrun the creature, not now that it had found them. The only option was to find shelter within the ruined city of Gravehill, where walls and witnesses might offer some protection.
