Phase: converging · forced · organic escalating

As they ventured deeper into the earth, the whisper echoed through the chamber once more, its urgency palpable. Silra's eyes darted towards Sister Hale, her gaze locked onto the cleric's steady symbol. The walls began to glow with an eerie light, illuminating intricate carvings that pulsed in rhythm with Hale's heartbeat. The air grew colder, and the symbols on the walls seemed to be drawing closer, as if they were alive.
Gravedigger Renn's voice crackled over the comms system, his words laced with desperation. "You shouldn't have come here... it's not safe!" Silra's hand tightened around her shard, a sense of unease settling in the pit of her stomach. She felt an inexplicable connection to this place, as if the very walls were alive and watching her every move.
As they explored further, Hale's exhaustion became apparent, her movements slower and more labored. The symbols on the walls pulsed faster now, their rhythm almost urgent, as if they were trying to convey a message. Silra's gaze locked onto Hale's, her eyes searching for any sign of weakness or doubt. But Hale stood firm, her symbol still steady, despite the toll of their journey.
The scraping sound behind them intensified, claws now dragging carven letters across the stone floor. Silra's instincts screamed at her to move, to find a way out before it was too late. But something held her in place, a sense of curiosity that drove her forward. She stepped closer to examine the symbols, her hand reaching out to touch the cold stone. The air seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy, and Silra felt herself drawn into its depths.
