Seraphine's keen eyes trace the intricate patterns etched into the stone, her fingers absently tracing the air as if following an invisible spell formula. The runes pulse with a malevolent rhythm, each beat sending a fresh wave of cold energy washing over the party. "These aren't mere seals," she murmurs, more to herself than anyone else. "They're... vessels. Containers for something ancient and terrible." She takes a step back, her gaze never leaving the pulsating stone. "Jeane is right—breaking through here could release whatever's trapped inside. We need to find another way up."

Varrika grunts in agreement, her hand tightening around the hilt of her heavy mace. "Aye, but Halie's still trapped under that rubble. We can't just leave her there." She glances at Jeane, noting the succubus's pale face and the way her wings are half-spread, a clear sign of distress. "Any ideas on how to free our cleric friend without pissing off whatever's lurking in that corridor?"

Jeane shakes her head slowly, her crimson eyes fixed on the dangerous runes. "I don't think we can. The magic here is... wrong. Demonic. If we try to move the rubble, we might accidentally activate the seals." She turns to face Seraphine and Varrika, her expression grave. "We need to find another way to reach Halie—and the upper floors—without passing through this corridor. The tower's outer walls must have other entrances leading to the same levels."

Seraphine nods, already pulling out her map from within her robes. "Agreed. We'll need to search the perimeter for alternative entrances." She glances around the unstable room, noting the crumbling stone and the faint dust still settling from the recent collapse. "But we should move quickly. This entire structure feels... unstable. One wrong step could bring the whole thing down on us."

Varrika moves closer to the wall opposite the sealed corridor, running her hands over the rough stone. "Alright then. Let's split up—Jeane and I will search the eastern wall, while you take the west, Seraphine." She pauses, a flicker of concern crossing her features as she looks back at Halie's trapped form. "And keep an eye on our friend there. If anything changes..."

Seraphine meets Varrika's gaze, understanding the unspoken request. "I'll watch over Halie. If I see any sign of movement or change in those seals, you'll be the first to know." She moves closer to the rubble pile, her keen eyes scanning every inch for any shift or weakness that might offer hope—or cause further disaster.

As the party splits to search for alternative entrances, the air within the tower seems to grow heavier, the ancient magic pulsing with renewed energy. The stone groans softly around them, a constant reminder of the precariousness of their situation.
