Round 94 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Seraphine stands firm, her eyes locked on Jeane's, the hall of mirrors begins to ripple and distort around them. The whispers grow louder, a cacophony of conflicting voices that threaten to overwhelm their senses. Suddenly, one of Merrin's reflections lunges forward, its dark form hurtling toward Seraphine with unnatural speed. Merrin's voice rings out in alarm, "No, no, no! She reaches out with a hand, as if to grab her rogue friend and hold her back. We can't let that happen! Jeane, you have to stop it!"
Jeane's gaze snaps to Merrin's reflection, her eyes flashing with a mix of warning and concern. She raises a hand, palm outward, and the mirror image hesitates, its dark form wavering in response. The ground beneath their feet shudders once more, and Seraphine stumbles, her balance precarious. The air seems to vibrate with tension, as if the very fabric of reality is straining to contain the chaos within the mirrors.
As the ground shifts beneath our feet and Merrin's reflection lunges towards Seraphine, I feel a surge of panic rise in my chest. The air crackles with energy, and I can hear the whispers growing louder, more insistent. Jeane's eyes lock onto mine, her gaze sharp and focused as she raises her hand to hold back the mirror image. "Careful now," she warns, her voice low and controlled. "We can't let this place consume us."
I nod, my heart racing as I try to steady myself against the unstable ground. The silver holy symbol feels cool against my fingers, a small comfort amidst the chaos. But even as I cling to it, I know that our true salvation lies not in the artifacts we carry, but in the strength of our unity. "Jeane," I say, my voice steady despite the turmoil around us. "What do you see in those mirrors? What are they showing you?"
As I speak, I can feel the power within me stirring, awakening to the presence of its kin in this ancient place. It's a sensation both exhilarating and terrifying, like standing on the edge of a precipice with no idea of what lies at the bottom. But one thing is certain: whatever awaits us in the depths of these reflections... it will change us forever.
I watch in horror as Merrin's reflection lunges towards Seraphine, its dark form seeming to phase right out of the mirror and into our reality. The air crackles with an otherworldly energy, and I can feel the power within me surging in response. Jeane's eyes are locked on the scene, her hand raised as if to command the very shadows themselves.
I know that whatever this trial is meant to show us, it isn’t just a simple reflection of our fears. It’s something far more complex and dangerous. The whispers grow louder, a chorus of ancient voices calling out in a language I can almost understand.
"Jeane," I call out over the din, my voice strained with urgency. "What do you see in those mirrors? What are they showing you?"
As I speak, I can feel my own power rising to meet this new threat. The silver holy symbol at my neck begins to warm, as if in warning or encouragement. Whatever is happening here, we need to act quickly before it consumes us all.
