Phase: converging

The portal pulsed with ominous energy, its surface rippling like dark water disturbed from below. The Keeper's laughter echoed through the chamber once more—a sound that grated against sanity itself.
Jeane's expression darkened as she raised her hand, arcane symbols glowing on her palm. Fine. If you won't come with us willingly, then I'll have to... persuade you. She began casting a spell that could bend Halie's will—but before the incantation was complete, Merrin stepped between them.
Jeane's eyes narrowed dangerously. Out of the way, rogue. This doesn't concern you.
But before either of them could act further, Seraphine moved forward, positioning herself between Jeane and Halie. Her voice was calm but firm as she addressed both women. Enough. This is madness—you can't force anyone into that place of reflection.
The wizard's intervention created a tense standoff. The air crackled with unspoken tension and barely restrained magic. The Keeper's laughter echoed again, delighted by the conflict it had stirred up among its potential victims.
