Round 9

As Merrin stepped back from the shattered barrier, her eyes darted frantically around the room, searching for signs of additional threats. Jeane, meanwhile, stood poised at the entrance, her dark energy crackling with an otherworldly power as she surveyed the hall. The skeletons, now freed from their binding wards, stumbled and staggered about the room, their bony arms flailing wildly as they sought to reassert control over their surroundings.

The air was heavy with the stench of decay and dark magic, and Merrin's hand tightened around the grip of her crossbow as she whispered a silent prayer for caution. Jeane, however, stood resolute, her crimson eyes blazing with an inner fire as she raised her hands to calm the situation. The pulsing binding runes on the walls seemed to respond to her presence, their frantic light intensifying as they struggled to contain the containment cascade.
