Merrin
Rogue
Merrin Quickstep is a wiry halfling scout and lockbreaker who moves with cautious energy and a mischievous smile that fades fast under pressure. Observant, nervous, clever, she looks for traps, exits, hidden motives, and profitable opportunities, but isn't heartless. Speaking quickly and lightly, Merrin masks her fear with jokes when the darkness presses too close.
In Merrin's own words
I'm Merrin Quickstep, a halfling scout known for my nimble fingers and keen eye. In this line of work, you learn to stay light on your feet and sharp in mind. One wrong move could seal your fate in these crumbling towers, so I keep watchful and wary. Traps and locks are my specialty - if there's a way through, I'll find it... for the right price. Don't let my jokes and roguish charm fool you though. I've seen too many friends to bone dust in these cursed ruins. So I laugh at death, but I fear him all the same.
