As I reach for the Time-Splitting Sword, the Guardian lunges forward, its massive form blocking my path. The whispering voice grows louder, more urgent, and I can feel a dark energy emanating from the sword, as if it's aware of the Guardian's presence. Varikka readies her mace, prepared to defend me. I grit my teeth, trying to focus on grabbing the sword, but the Guardian's eyes seem to bore into my soul, making my skin crawl. Suddenly, the stone floor beneath us gives way, and we plummet down a hidden shaft, the Time-Splitting Sword flying out of my grasp. We fall through darkness, the only sound the rush of wind and the Guardian's deafening roar echoing up from below. The shaft narrows, forcing us to crouch together, our hearts racing in unison. I glance at Varikka, her injured ankle throbbing in the confined space. "We need to find a way out of here," I whisper, trying to keep my voice steady. The Guardian's voice booms up from below, "You should not have come here."

I let out a yelp of surprise as we plummet down the hidden shaft, my stomach lurching into my throat. Varikka's weight shifts against me, her injured ankle throbbing in the confined space. "Varikka!" I cry out, grabbing her arm to steady myself. The Guardian's voice booms up from below, sending chills down my spine. "You should not have come here." I grit my teeth, trying to focus on finding a way out of this nightmare. As we reach the bottom of the shaft, we find ourselves in a small chamber, the Time-Splitting Sword lying on the ground several feet away. I can feel its power pulsing, drawing me towards it like a magnet. Varikka limps beside me, her face contorted in pain as she tries to put weight on her injured ankle. "We need to grab the sword and get out of here," I whisper urgently, scanning the shadows for any sign of danger. Suddenly, the Guardian emerges from a hidden passage, its form filling the chamber with an oppressive aura of malice. It lunges towards us, its claws outstretched, and I feel a surge of fear run through me. "Varikka!" I cry out, pushing her behind me as I draw my dagger. The Guardian's eyes fix on the Time-Splitting Sword, and I know we don't have much time. "Stay back," I growl, positioning myself between the sword and the creature. "This ends now." I brace myself for the attack, my heart pounding in my chest.
