As we proceed deeper into the chamber, the air grows thick with an eerie silence. Suddenly, a faint whispering echoes through the tunnel, making my skin crawl. "I can feel it too," I whisper to Varikka, trying to keep my voice steady. The Guardian's labored breathing grows louder, and I know we're running out of time. "We need to find the sword now," I urge Varikka, my hand tightening around the hilt of my dagger. Varikka nods grimly, her injured ankle throbbing with every step. We move cautiously, scanning the shadows for any sign of danger. The whispering grows louder, and I can make out words: "Turn back while you still can." The voice is low and menacing, and I know we can't turn back now. With a deep breath, I push open a large stone door, revealing a room filled with ancient artifacts. In the center of the room, the Time-Splitting Sword shines brightly on a pedestal, surrounded by a halo of light. But, to my horror, I see that the Guardian has already entered the room, its eyes fixed menacingly on us.

I see the Time-Splitting Sword on the pedestal, radiating power. My heart pounds as I realize we've made it this far, but the Guardian's presence fills me with icy fear. "Varikka," I hiss urgently, "The sword is there. We need to grab it and run." I start forward, my hand tightening around my dagger, ready to defend us if the creature attacks. But even as I move, doubt gnaws at me. The sword's power feels different, almost malevolent. And that whispering voice, the sense of danger... I glance at Varikka, seeing her injured ankle and the strain on her face. "Are you sure you can fight if it comes to that?" I ask, my voice barely audible. She nods grimly, limping forward to stand beside me. "I'll hold it off," she growls through gritted teeth. "You grab the sword."

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what's to come. The Guardian shifts, its eyes fixed on us, and I know we're running out of time. With a final glance at Varikka, I step forward, my heart pounding in my chest as I reach for the Time-Splitting Sword.
