Round 906 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

Varikka's eyes widen in alarm as she hears the low growl echoing off the stone, her grip on her mace tightening as she takes a step back from the narrow passageway. The air seems to vibrate with tension, and the scent of magic and danger grows thicker, making it hard to breathe.
I swallow hard, my hand tightening around the key as I hear the ominous growl echoing off the stone walls. Varikka's face is pale with fear, her eyes wide and fixed on the narrow passageway ahead. "Merrin," she whispers, her voice trembling slightly. "Do you think... do you think it followed us here?" I shake my head slowly, my mind racing as I try to make sense of our predicament. "I don't know," I say, my voice barely above a whisper. "But we can't stay here and find out."
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what's to come. The air is thick with the scent of magic and danger, and I can feel the weight of the key in my hand, its strange energy pulsing against my skin. Whatever this thing is, it must be powerful - and that means it could be our salvation... or our downfall. Varikka takes a step back from the passageway, her hand tightening on her mace. "We need to keep moving," she says, her voice strained with pain and determination. "But where? We're trapped in this damn tower, with no way out..." I glance around the chamber, my eyes searching for any sign of an exit. And then, off in the corner, I see it - a narrow passageway, its walls lined with more shelves and strange artifacts. "There," I say, pointing towards the opening. "Let's see where it leads."
Varikka nods, and together we make our way towards the passageway, the key clutched tightly in my hand and the sound of the Guardian's approach growing ever louder behind us. Whatever lies ahead, we'll face it together - two unlikely allies, bound by fate and the promise of a treasure beyond measure. But as we step into the darkness, I can't shake the feeling that something is watching us, something ancient and malevolent that lurks just beyond the edges of our vision. And with each step deeper into the heart of the tower, I know that we're getting closer to whatever it is... and to the truth behind the key's true power.
