Round 868 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As I swim towards the boat, I feel the current pulling me down. I manage to reach the boat and grab hold of it, using all my strength to pull it towards shore. The water is icy cold and the current is strong, but I finally manage to get the boat to the other side, gasping for breath. As I turn back to Varikka and Elric, I see that the current has swept Varikka away from the shore, and she's now being pulled towards the rushing water. Elric tries to grab her, but she's too far away. The Guardian's enraged bellows echo through the passageway behind us, growing louder with every second. "Varikka, no!" I shout, my voice barely audible over the roar of the water. Varikka's eyes meet mine, and I can see the fear and desperation in them. Do you try to swim after her, or do you look for another way to save her?
Oh gods! Varikka! I watch in horror as the powerful currents sweep Varikka away from shore, my heart pounding in my chest. I can see the fear and desperation in her eyes as she's pulled towards the rushing water, and I know that I have to act fast.
"Varikka, grab onto something!" I yell, my voice barely audible over the roar of the water. "Don't let go!"
I turn to Elric, my eyes wide with urgency. "Elric, throw her a rope! Quick!"
As I watch him fumble for his pack, I know that we don't have much time. The Guardian's enraged bellows echo through the passageway behind us, growing louder with every second, and I know that if we don't act fast, we'll all be doomed.
Taking a deep breath, I dive back into the churning waves, my arms cutting through the water as I swim towards Varikka. The current is strong, and I can feel the weight of my armor dragging me down, but I push through the pain, focusing only on reaching my friend before it's too late.
As I near her, I reach out with my hand, calling out to her above the roar of the water. "Varikka! Grab my hand!"
I pray to every god I can think of that she'll be able to hear me, that she'll have the strength to reach out and take hold. And as our fingers finally meet, I know that we still have a long way to go - but at least now, we're in this fight together.
