The Guardian's roar echoes through the narrow stone tunnel, growing louder with each passing moment. The ground beneath their feet begins to slope downward, leading the party toward the pool area. As they move, the sound of rushing water grows closer, and the air fills with the smell of damp earth. Varikka's injured ankle throbs with each step, making it difficult to maintain balance. The tunnel narrows further, forcing the group to move in single file. Elric's torch flickers in the darkness, casting eerie shadows on the walls. Suddenly, a section of the tunnel wall gives way, and the sound of rushing water grows even louder. The ground beneath their feet drops away, revealing a fast-moving underground river that flows through the heart of the tower. Varikka stumbles, her injured ankle giving out beneath her. She falls hard onto the rocky floor, the impact making her cry out in pain. The Guardian's roar grows louder still, and Elric's torch casts an ominous glow on the rushing water below. Merrin rushes to Varikka's side, her eyes wide with concern. "Varikka, can you move? We need to keep going!" she calls out, her voice urgent.

Varrika · Fighter

I cry out in pain as I fall hard onto the rocky floor, my injured ankle giving way beneath me. The sound of rushing water fills my ears, and I can feel the cold dampness seeping through my clothes. Merrin's voice cuts through the noise, her words urgent and filled with concern.

"Varikka, can you move? We need to keep going!" she shouts, her hand reaching out to steady me. "The Guardian is getting closer, and we can't stay here!"

I grit my teeth against the pain, my hands grasping at the rough stone floor as I try to push myself up. Elric's torch casts an ominous glow on the rushing water below, the fast-moving river flowing through the heart of the tower. The Guardian's roar echoes off the walls, growing louder with each passing moment. I can feel the fear rising in my chest, the knowledge that we are trapped and outnumbered.

But I refuse to give up. No matter how much pain I'm in, no matter how dire our situation seems, I'll keep fighting until my last breath. That's the only way we're going to survive this.

Merrin · Rogue

I rush over to Varikka, my heart pounding in my chest as I see her fall to the ground. The sound of rushing water fills my ears, and I can feel the cold dampness seeping through my clothes. Varikka's injured ankle has given out beneath her, leaving her unable to move.

"Varikka!" I shout, my voice urgent and filled with concern. "Can you hear me? We need to get out of here before that Guardian catches up to us!"

I reach out to help Varikka to her feet, my hands grasping at her arms as I try to lift her up. Elric's torch flickers in the darkness, casting an ominous glow on the rushing water below. The Guardian's roar grows louder still, and I can feel the fear rising in my chest.

But I refuse to let it overwhelm me. No matter how much danger we're in, no matter how dire our situation seems, I'll keep fighting until my last breath. That's the only way we're going to survive this.

With a grunt of effort, I manage to get Varikka to her feet, my hands gripping her tightly as I try to keep her steady. The tunnel narrows even further, forcing us to move in single file as we make our way toward the pool area. Elric takes the lead, his torch held high as he guides us through the darkness.

As we move deeper into the tunnel, the sound of rushing water grows louder still, and the air fills with the smell of damp earth. The ground beneath our feet slants sharply downward, leading us to a small opening in the wall, partially hidden by a tangle of ancient runes.

With a final burst of energy, I manage to push Varikka through the opening, my hands grasping at her arms as I try to keep her steady. Elric follows close behind, his torch casting a flickering light on the rough stone walls of the narrow passage beyond.
