Round 770 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

The tension in ancient tower depths, hidden chamber with narrow passageway and collapsing tunnel entrance tightens for a beat as the interruption refuses to go away. Everyone is forced to stay quiet and choose their next move carefully.
Merrin: I steady Varikka as she stumbles, my heart pounding in my chest as I feel the ground shaking beneath our feet. "Careful," I say, my voice strained with tension. "The tunnel is unstable."
I glance back over my shoulder, my eyes widening as I see the collapsed section of ceiling behind us. The Time-Splitting Sword pulses with energy in my hand, its ancient magic reacting to the chaos around us.
"We need to keep moving," I say urgently, turning back to Varikka.* "This tunnel is about to come down on top of us."
Varrika: I grit my teeth against the pain in my ankle, forcing myself to push forward one limping step at a time. "I know," I say, my voice strained with tension. "But this tunnel is getting narrower by the second. The walls are closing in on us like a vise."
I peer into the darkness ahead, my eyes straining to make out any details in the gloom. "Merrin, can you see anything up ahead? Any sign of an exit or a safe place to rest?" I ask, my voice hushed with fear.
The ground trembles and shifts beneath our feet, and I brace myself for another collapse. The Time-Splitting Sword pulses with an eerie light in Merrin's hand, casting flickering shadows on the tunnel walls. But I know that we can't stay here - if the Guardian catches up to us, we may be doomed to face its wrath.
So I take a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever challenges lie ahead. "Alright," I say, my voice tight with determination. "Let's see where this passage leads. But we need to be careful - one wrong step could bring the whole tunnel down on our heads."
I reach out and take Merrin's hand, gripping it tightly as I start to limp forward into the darkness. "Stay close," I whisper, my voice barely above a breath. "We're in this together now, no matter what happens."
