As we round a corner in the tunnel, the ground beneath us gives a deadly shudder. A section of the ceiling collapses, sending a cascade of rocks tumbling down on our right flank. We're forced to take cover behind a nearby boulder, dodging falling debris and dust. The dust settles, revealing a narrow passageway leading deeper into the tunnel. We can hear the Guardian's pursuit closing in, its dark energy seeping into the air. Varikka's injured ankle throbs with pain, making every step a challenge. We have to decide quickly: do we press onward through the narrow passageway, risking further injury to Varikka's ankle and potentially getting caught by the Guardian, or do we try to find a safer route, potentially losing precious time and resources?

I cough and sputter as the dust from the collapsed ceiling fills my lungs, my eyes watering from the irritation. The Time-Splitting Sword pulses with energy in my hand, its ancient magic reacting to the instability of the tunnel around us. I can feel the ground shaking beneath my feet, and I know that we don't have much time before the rest of the tunnel comes down around us.

"Varikka, are you alright?" I ask, my voice strained as I struggle to make myself heard over the sound of falling rock. She nods grimly, wiping the dust from her eyes as she struggles to regain her footing. I can see the pain in her face, and I know that her ankle must be bothering her even more now.*

"We need to keep moving," I say, my voice urgent as I point to the narrow passageway ahead.* "That's our only way out of here. But we'll have to be careful - the tunnel looks like it could collapse at any moment."

Varikka nods, her jaw set with determination as she pushes herself forward, limping heavily on her injured ankle. The Time-Splitting Sword pulses with energy in my hand, its power growing more unstable with each passing moment. But for now, all that matters is staying alive, and getting as far away from the Guardian and the collapsing tunnel as possible.

As we press deeper into the narrow passageway, I find myself wondering what other dangers and challenges await us. The Guardian's pursuit is growing closer with each passing moment, its dark energy seeping into the very air around us. And with my ankle injured and the ground crumbling beneath our feet, I know that we're taking a huge risk by venturing any further into this treacherous place.

But I also know that we have no choice. We can't go back the way we came - the tunnel behind us is blocked by the collapsed section of ceiling. And if we stay here, we could be buried alive as the rest of the tunnel comes down around us. So I take a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever challenges lie ahead. As we push forward through the narrow passageway, I find myself wondering if we've made the right choice. The tunnel seems to grow narrower and more treacherous with each passing moment, the walls closing in around us like the jaws of a trap.
