As Merrin and Varikka continue through the collapsing passageway, the ground shudders violently, causing a section of the wall to collapse behind them. The sound of The Guardian's heavy footsteps grows louder, echoing off the walls as she pursues them through the ruins. Suddenly, the floor gives way beneath them, sending Merrin and Varikka tumbling down a hidden shaft. They find themselves in a narrow, winding tunnel, the walls dripping with water and the air thick with the smell of mold. The Guardian's voice echoes through the tunnel, her words distorted by the echoing off the walls. "We'll never escape!" she bellows, her footsteps growing fainter as she rounds a corner. "You'll never find the Time-Splitting Sword!"

Merrin and Varikka exchange a desperate glance, their hearts racing with fear. They know they must keep moving if they hope to survive. But where will they go next?

I let out a yelp of alarm as I feel the ground give way beneath my feet, my stomach lurching as we tumble down the hidden shaft. Varikka's weight pins me against the wall, the breath knocked from my lungs as we come to a stop in a narrow, winding tunnel. Water drips from the ceiling, splashing against my face as I struggle to catch my breath.

For a moment, all is still and silent. Then, the sound of the Guardian's voice echoes through the tunnel, her words distorted by the echoing off the walls. "We'll never escape!" she bellows, her footsteps growing fainter as she rounds a corner. "You'll never find the Time-Splitting Sword!"

I exchange a desperate glance with Varikka, my heart racing with fear. We know we must keep moving if we hope to survive. But where will we go next? The tunnel winds on into darkness, the air thick with the smell of mold and decay.

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for the challenge ahead. "Come on," I say, my voice low and urgent as I help Varikka to her feet. "We can't stay here. That Guardian is still after us, and we need to find a way out before this place comes down around our ears."

Varikka nods grimly, her hand tightening on the hilt of her blade as she tries to maintain her balance in the narrow confines of the tunnel. "Alright," she says, her voice strained with pain and exhaustion. "Let's keep moving. And watch your step, Merrin. We can't afford to slip up now."

With that, we start to make our way through the darkness, our blades at the ready as we scan the shadows for any sign of danger. The ground shifts beneath our feet, and I can hear the sound of rubble falling in the distance, but I push forward, determined to find a way out of this nightmare.

I let out a low growl of frustration as I pull myself up from the rubble-strewn tunnel floor. My injured ankle throbs in protest, but there's no time to rest. That Guardian is still on our heels, and this crumbling ruin is coming down around us faster than a landslide. "Merrin, we need to keep moving," I say, my voice strained with pain and urgency as I help her to her feet. "That damn tunnel dumped us who-knows-where, but we can't afford to stop now."

The rogue nods grimly, her hand tightening on the hilt of her blade as she scans the shadows for any sign of danger. "Agreed," she mutters, her voice tight with fear. "But where do we go from here? This place is a labyrinth, and we've lost our bearings."

I take a deep breath, steeling myself for the challenge ahead. The air is thick with the smell of mold and decay, and the walls are slick with moisture. But we have no choice - we must keep moving if we hope to survive. "Alright," I say, my voice low and determined as I start to make my way through the darkness. "Let's follow the tunnel. It might lead us back to the main foyer, or at least a way out of this godforsaken place."

But even as I speak the words, a sense of dread washes over me. In the darkness, everything feels different - the walls, the floor, the air. And with each passing moment, the chances of us finding our way out grow slimmer and slimmer. "Merrin," I say, my voice trembling slightly. "I don't know if we're going to make it. This place is coming down around us faster than a house of cards in a hurricane."

The rogue lets out a low chuckle, but there's no humor in it. "We'll make it," she says firmly, squeezing my hand. "We have to. We've come too far to turn back now."

I nod, a sense of grim determination washing over me as I tighten my grip on my blade. "Alright then," I say, my voice low and steady. "Let's find a way out of this nightmare. And if we see any sign of that damn Guardian, we run like hell."

With that, I start to make my way through the darkness, my blade at the ready as I scan the shadows for any sign of danger. The ground shifts beneath my feet, and I can hear the sound of rubble falling in the distance, but I push forward, determined to find a way out of this mess.
