As we step through the narrow opening, I stumble on uneven terrain, my foot catching on a jagged rock. Varikka gasps in pain, her injured ankle twisting under her weight. The Guardian watches with an unreadable expression, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. The sound of rushing water grows louder, and I can feel the ground beneath me tremble with each passing moment. A faint scent of ozone fills the air, mingling with the stench of decay. Suddenly, a section of the tunnel wall collapses behind us, sending rubble tumbling down the narrow passage. We're now trapped on one side of the wall, with the Guardian's warning echoing in our ears: "The main chamber is collapsing in mere moments."

I manage to catch myself on a jagged rock, my hands scraping against the rough surface. Varikka stumbles beside me, her injured ankle twisting under her weight. I reach out to steady her, my heart pounding in my chest as I hear the sound of the collapse growing louder.

"Careful," I mutter, my voice strained with urgency. "We can't risk falling into any more traps or pitfalls."

I glance back at the Guardian, a look of suspicion crossing my face. "Is this your doing?" I ask, my voice tight with pain and uncertainty. I know that we can't stay here, but the thought of putting myself in even more danger makes my stomach churn.

The Guardian watches us with an unreadable expression, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "The tower has a mind of its own," he says, his voice dripping with malice. "But you're too late. The main chamber is collapsing in mere moments."

I take a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves as I help Varikka to her feet. "Alright," I say, my voice strained with urgency. "Let's see what's waiting for us in there. But we need to be careful. We can't risk falling into any more traps or pitfalls."

As we make our way through the narrow passage, I keep my eyes peeled for any signs of danger. The sound of rushing water grows louder, and I know that we need to keep moving if we want to survive. But with Varikka's injured ankle and the instability of the tunnel, it's going to be a slow and dangerous journey.

I take a deep breath, trying to steady my nerves as I reach for my crossbow. "Stay close," I whisper to Varikka, my voice low and urgent. "And be ready for anything."

I glance back at the Guardian, a look of pure rage in my eyes. "If you're behind this, I swear I'll make you pay," I growl, my hand tightening around the hilt of my mace. I know that we can't stay here, but the thought of putting myself in even more danger makes my stomach churn.
