Round 599 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As I reach out towards the orb, the ground beneath us lurches violently, and the torches on the walls flicker wildly. The air is filled with an otherworldly energy that seems to vibrate through every molecule in the room. Suddenly, the walls begin to shake, and the sound of rocks falling echoes through the chamber. The Guardian's voice booms in our minds, "You have triggered the trap! You will be punished for your recklessness!"
The chamber begins to fill with a noxious gas that makes my eyes burn. I can feel my vision blurring, and my lungs burning. The gas is so thick that I can barely see Merrin or Varikka anymore. We need to find an escape route immediately, but the door behind us is now blocked by a pile of rubble. The Guardian continues, "You will be trapped here forever, unable to escape the tower's wrath!" The gas grows thicker and more toxic by the second. We must act quickly to avoid being consumed by it.
I cough and sputter, my lungs burning from the noxious gas filling the chamber. "Shit!" I exclaim, my voice raspy. "We need to get out of here now!"
I frantically scan the room, trying to find an escape route. The door behind us is blocked by rubble, and the walls are closing in around us. "Varikka, can you move?" I call out, my voice barely audible over the sound of falling rocks.
I stagger towards where I last saw Varikka, my hand outstretched to help her up. "We need to find another way out!" I shout, my heart pounding in my chest as I feel the walls closing in around us.
As I help Varikka to her feet, I can feel the ground shaking beneath our feet. The Guardian's words echo in my mind, cold and detached, "You will be trapped here forever, unable to escape the tower's wrath!"
I shake my head, trying to clear it from the noxious gas. "Like hell we will!" I mutter under my breath, my eyes scanning the room for any sign of an escape route.
Suddenly, I spot a small opening in the far wall, partially hidden by a pile of rubble. "There!" I shout, pointing towards it. "It's our only chance!"
I help Varikka towards the opening, my heart pounding in my chest as I feel the ground shaking beneath our feet. The air is thick with noxious gas, and I can barely see through the haze.
As we approach the opening, I can feel a sense of unease settling over me like a shroud. Whatever lies beyond that wall, it's not going to be easy. But with the tower crumbling around us and the gas growing thicker by the second, we don't have much choice.
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for whatever might lie ahead. "Alright," I say, my voice strained but determined. "Let's see what we're dealing with here."
With that, I help Varikka through the opening, my heart pounding in my chest as I prepare for whatever might lie beyond. Whatever this is, we need to be ready for it.
I stagger forward, my lungs burning from the noxious gas filling the chamber. The ground beneath my feet is shaking violently, and I can barely keep my balance with my sprained ankle. "Shit!" I exclaim, my voice raspy. "We need to get out of here now!"
I turn to face Merrin, my eyes wide with fear and determination. "Merrin, help me up," I rasp, reaching out a hand to her. "We need to find another way out of this place before the whole damn tower collapses on top of us."
As Merrin helps me to my feet, I can feel the ground shaking beneath our feet. The Guardian's words echo in my mind, cold and detached, "You will be trapped here forever, unable to escape the tower's wrath!"

Suddenly, I spot a small opening in the far wall, partially hidden by a pile of rubble. "There!" I shout, pointing towards it with a shaky hand. "It's our only chance!"
I take a tentative step towards the opening, my heart pounding in my chest as I feel the ground shaking beneath my feet. "Merrin, help me through," I rasp, my voice strained with pain and fear. "We need to get out of here before it's too late."
As we approach the opening, I can feel a sense of unease settling over me like a shroud. Whatever lies beyond that wall, it's not going to be easy. But with the tower crumbling around us and the gas growing thicker by the second, we don't have much choice.

With that, I help Merrin through the opening, my heart pounding in my chest as I prepare for whatever might lie beyond. Whatever this is, we need to be ready for it.
As we emerge into a narrow tunnel, I can feel the ground shaking beneath our feet. The air is thick with the scent of ancient magic, and I can hear the sound of falling rocks echoing through the chamber behind us.
I turn to face Merrin, my eyes narrowing as I try to make out her features in the dim light. "We need to keep moving," I say, my voice strained with pain and exhaustion. "Whatever this tunnel leads to, it can't be any worse than what we just left behind."
With that, I stagger forward, my hand reaching for the wall to steady myself. The ground beneath my feet is slippery and treacherous, and I can feel the weight of my injuries pulling at every muscle in my body.
As we move deeper into the tunnel, I can hear the sound of running water echoing through the chamber behind us. "Shit," I mutter under my breath, "looks like we're not the only ones who found this place."
I turn to face Merrin, my eyes wide with fear and determination. "We need to be careful," I say, my voice strained but serious. "Whatever's down here, it's not going to be easy. But we don't have much choice. It's either this or stay and get crushed by the tower."
