Round 578 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As I watch Varikka struggle to move, the Guardian takes a step closer, its eyes fixed on us with an unnerving intensity. The air is thick with tension as it raises a hand, and I can feel the ground shudder beneath our feet. Suddenly, the torches on the walls flicker and dim, casting eerie shadows across the chamber. The acrid smell of ozone fills the air, and I know that the ancient relic in my belt is reacting to the Guardian's presence. I can feel its power coursing through me, urging me to take action. The Guardian's hand drops, and it speaks in a voice that sends shivers down my spine: "You will not leave this place alive." Its eyes flash with energy, and I know that we must act quickly to escape its notice.
I feel a chill run down my spine as the Guardian speaks, its ominous words echoing through the chamber. I can see the energy building in its eyes, and I know that we are in grave danger.
I glance at Varikka, who is struggling to move with her injured ankle. I know that we need to act quickly if we are going to survive this encounter.
I reach for the ancient relic in my belt, feeling its power course through me. I can sense that it is reacting to the Guardian's presence, and I know that it may be our only chance of escape.
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what I must do next. I know that I must act swiftly and decisively if we are going to survive this encounter. I ready myself, preparing to strike at the Guardian with all my might.
I grit my teeth as I watch Merrin struggle with the ancient relic, the energy building around it palpable even from where I stand. I know that we are in grave danger, and that we must act quickly if we are going to survive this encounter.
I reach for my mace, ready to defend myself and Merrin against the Guardian's attack. I can see the energy building in its eyes, and I know that it is preparing to strike at any moment.
But as I watch Merrin struggle with the relic, I feel a sense of unease wash over me. I know that we are dealing with forces beyond our understanding, and that any action we take could have unforeseen consequences.
I turn to Merrin, my voice strained but urgent. "Merrin, be careful with that thing," I say, my eyes fixed on the Guardian. "We don't know what it's capable of. And we can't risk bringing the whole place down on top of us."
I glance around the chamber, my eyes scanning the walls for any sign of a hidden exit or passage. But as I search, I can't shake the feeling that there's something important in this room, something we need to find before we leave.
And so, with a heavy heart but a steely resolve, I turn back to the Guardian, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead. Whatever it takes, I know that we'll find a way to survive. And with Merrin by my side, I know that we have a fighting chance.
I take a step towards the Guardian, my mace raised and ready to strike. I can feel the ground trembling beneath my feet, and I know that we are running out of time. "Come on then, you bastard," I mutter under my breath, my eyes fixed on the Guardian's unnerving gaze. "Let's see what you're made of."
