As Merrin helps Varikka up, the Guardian's glowing eyes flash brighter, and its voice takes on a warning tone, "Time is running out. You must act quickly." The chamber lurches violently again, and the torches on the walls flicker precariously. The air is filled with the smell of dust and decay. Merrin frantically searches for something to use as a makeshift splint, her hands moving quickly as she scans the shelves. Varikka's eyes widen in fear, her ankle throbbing with each movement. "We need to find something," Merrin says urgently, her voice laced with desperation. Suddenly, a loud creaking sound echoes through the chamber, and the shelves around them begin to shake ominously.
