As Varikka descends into the darkness, her mace held tightly in her grip, she suddenly feels a jolt of pain from her sprained ankle. She grimaces, wincing in discomfort as she tries to put weight on it. The sound of rushing water grows louder with each step, and the dwarf warrior can feel the ground beneath her feet shaking more violently. The air is thick with the smell of damp earth and mold, and the flickering light from below casts eerie shadows on the walls.

Merrin

Merrin · Rogue

"Varikka!" I call out, my voice echoing through the tunnels. "I hear you! Keep shouting so I can follow your voice!"

I move forward cautiously, my crossbow at the ready and my eyes scanning the shadows for any sign of danger or traps. The sound of rushing water grows louder with each step, and I can feel the ground beneath my feet shaking more violently. "Varikka, are you alright?" I shout, my voice laced with concern. "Can you describe what you're seeing? Any clues about where we are?"

I take a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. The air is thick with the smell of damp earth and mold, and the flickering light from below casts eerie shadows on the walls. I can feel the presence of the spectral entity growing stronger, its whispery voice echoing through the chamber and sending chills down my spine. "Varikka, we need to stick together if we're going to survive this," I call out, my voice trembling with fear. "I know you want to find that sword, but we can't let our guard down for a second! There's something evil down here, and I don't trust it!"

I move forward slowly, my footsteps echoing through the tunnels. The walls are damp and slimy, and I can feel the moisture seeping into my clothes. I keep my crossbow trained on the shadows ahead, ready to fire at the first sign of danger. "Varikka, please be careful," I plead, my voice growing more urgent with each step. "I don't want to lose you down here in this cursed place!"

Varrika

Varrika · Fighter

Varikka's voice echoes through the tunnels, her words filled with concern for Merrin's well-being. "Merrin, I'm here! Keep moving towards my voice, we'll find each other!"

She takes a few more steps down the winding staircase, her mace held tightly in her grip. The sound of rushing water grows louder with each step, and the dwarf warrior can feel the ground beneath her feet shaking more violently.

Suddenly, Varikka feels a sharp pain shoot through her sprained ankle. She winces, grimacing as she tries to put weight on it. "Ow! Damn this cursed leg!" she mutters under her breath.

As Merrin's voice grows closer, Varikka calls out again, "Merrin, I'm here! But be careful, the stairs are treacherous. Watch your step!"

She takes another step forward, her mace held at the ready. The air is thick with the smell of damp earth and mold, and the flickering light from below casts eerie shadows on the walls.

Varikka's heart races as she hears Merrin's words about the evil presence in the depths. "Aye, I feel it too," she says, her voice grim. "There's something wicked down here, and I don't trust it any more than you do."

She takes a deep breath, steeling herself for whatever lies ahead. "But we have to keep moving, Merrin. We can't let our guard down for a second. Just keep your wits about you and watch for traps!"

As she moves forward, Varikka's eyes scan the shadows for any sign of danger or potential escape routes. The walls are damp and slimy, and she can feel the moisture seeping into her clothes.

Suddenly, she hears a rustling sound coming from somewhere in the darkness ahead. Her heart pounds as she tightens her grip on her mace, ready to strike at the first sign of danger.

"Merrin, did you hear that?" she calls out, her voice hushed and tense. "Something's moving down here, and I don't think it's friendly!"
