Round 533 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Varikka and Merrin push forward through the churning pool, the water grows colder and darker, making it difficult to see more than a few feet ahead. The Guardian's eyes seem to be fixed on them, its presence growing stronger with each passing second. Suddenly, Varikka feels a strong tug on her arm, and she realizes that Merrin has grabbed hold of her, their hands clasped together in a desperate bid for stability. "Varikka, let me go!" Merrin cries out, her voice barely audible over the din of the water. "I can pull us through!"
Varikka hesitates, unsure if they should trust Merrin's strength to keep them afloat. The Guardian's eyes seem to be getting closer, and the water is growing colder by the second. "Wait!" Varikka shouts back, her voice strained with fear. "We can't let go now! We have to get through this door before it's too late!"
The door is just ahead, a dark shape looming in the distance. But as they swim towards it, Varikka realizes that the water is growing stronger, threatening to drag them under at any moment. They're running out of time - the Guardian is closing in, and the rising water level threatens to sweep them away at any moment. Merrin spots a dark shape moving beneath the surface, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.
Merrin's heart pounds as Varikka's hand tightens around her arm, the dwarf's strength the only thing keeping them both from being swept away by the churning current. She can feel the Guardian's eyes boring into them, its presence growing stronger with each passing second.
But even in the midst of their desperate struggle, Merrin's mind is racing, trying to think of a way out of this nightmare. "Varikka," she gasps, fighting to keep her head above water, "we can't let go now. We have to get through that door before it's too late!"
She glances over at the dark shape looming in the distance, knowing that their only hope lies in reaching it before the Guardian catches up to them. "I know you're tired," she continues, her voice strained with effort, "but we have to keep fighting. We can't let this thing win."
And with a final burst of strength, Merrin pulls herself forward through the water, her mace gripped tight in her hand and her eyes fixed on the door ahead. "Come on, Varikka," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the din of the current. "We're almost there. Just a little bit further..."

As they push forward through the churning pool, Varikka can feel the water growing colder and darker with each passing second. The Guardian's eyes seem to be getting closer, its presence looming over them like a malevolent shadow.
But even in the face of such overwhelming odds, Varikka refuses to give up. She knows that they are fighting for their lives, and that the only way out is through that door ahead. And so, with a final surge of strength, she pulls Merrin alongside her, the two of them clinging to each other like life rafts in a raging storm.
Together, they push forward through the water, their maces raised high and their eyes fixed on the door ahead. They know that they are running out of time, but they also know that they will not go down without a fight. And so, with a final burst of strength, they make one last desperate lunge towards the door, their very lives depending on the outcome of this final, perilous journey.
