As we take a step forward into the passageway, the glow grows brighter, illuminating the jagged rock formations and casting eerie shadows on the walls. Suddenly, the ground gives way beneath our feet, and we tumble down another steep slope, landing hard on the rocky floor. The impact knocks the wind out of me, and I feel my head spin. The glow intensifies, and we see that the passageway opens up into a large chamber filled with a thick layer of fog. The air is heavy with the stench of decay and corruption. We can hear the sound of rushing water echoing off the walls, growing louder by the second. Merrin takes a step forward, her crowbar at the ready, as Varikka readies her crowbar alongside me. "We need to find cover, now," I shout above the din of the water.

Merrin · Rogue

I tighten my grip on the crowbar, my heart pounding in my chest as I take a cautious step forward into the fog-filled chamber. The air is thick with the stench of decay and corruption, making it hard to breathe. But I know that we can't afford to let our guard down now. "Stay alert," I mutter to Varikka, my voice strained even as I scan the area for any sign of danger or potential escape routes. "And be ready for anything."

I take another step forward, my eyes narrowing as I try to make out the shapes moving in the shadows ahead. The sound of rushing water grows louder by the second, echoing off the walls and drowning out any other sounds. "Whatever you do," I say firmly, my jaw set with determination even as I struggle to keep my balance amidst the shifting ground beneath our feet, "don't let your guard down. This place is full of tricks and traps, and we can't afford to be caught off-guard."

I take another step forward, my muscles tensing as I prepare to face whatever horrors may emerge from the shadows ahead. The fog swirls around us, obscuring our vision and making it hard to tell what's real and what's not. But I know that we have to keep moving forward. We can't afford to stay here, not with the water rising and the Guardian still closing in. "Stay close," I mutter to Varikka, my voice soft but urgent even as I raise my crowbar, ready to strike at whatever horrors may emerge from the darkness ahead. "And be ready for anything."

And with that, we venture deeper into the unknown, our hearts pounding in our chests as we brace ourselves for whatever challenges may lie ahead.

"Water's rising fast, we need to move!" I shout over the din of the rushing flood, my voice strained as I struggle to keep my balance on the slippery rocks. My ankle throbs with agony, but there's no time to rest now. We have to keep pushing forward, no matter the cost.

I take a limping step into the swirling fog, my crowbar at the ready. The air is thick with the stench of decay, making it hard to breathe. But I know that we can't afford to let our guard down now. This place is full of tricks and traps, and we can't afford to be caught off-guard.

"Come on," I say, my voice strained but determined even as I fight back a wave of fear. "Let's see where this leads us."
