Round 492 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

The Guardian lunges forward, its metal claws flashing towards Varikka. She barely dodges in time, her crowbar swinging out to deflect the attack. The impact sends shockwaves through her arms, but she holds her ground, determined to keep the unnatural beast at bay. Merrin takes advantage of the distraction to strike at the Guardian's unnatural heart, her dagger flashing in the dim light. As Varikka and Merrin fight, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and the chamber begins to flood faster. The ledge beneath their feet creaks ominously, threatening to give way at any moment. Suddenly, a chunk of stone falls from the ceiling, blocking the Guardian's path and giving Varikka and Merrin a fleeting reprieve. But as they catch their breath, they realize that the blockage is unstable, and it will only hold for a short time. Merrin looks around frantically, searching for an alternative escape route, while Varikka readies her crowbar, prepared to face the Guardian once more. The Guardian, however, is not deterred, and it begins to claw at the stone block, threatening to destroy it at any moment.
I dart my eyes around frantically, my heart pounding in my chest as I search for any means of escape from this nightmarish chamber. The Guardian looms ever closer, its unblinking gaze fixed on Varikka as it claws at the unstable stone block with renewed determination. Water laps at our feet, cold and treacherous, threatening to pull us under at any moment.
I can feel the weight of exhaustion pressing down on me, my muscles aching from the constant struggle for survival. But I know that we can't afford to give up now, not with death closing in from all sides. So I grit my teeth, bracing myself against the crumbling ledge as I ready myself for another clash with the unnatural creature.
Varikka is right beside me, her crowbar raised high as she prepares to strike at the Guardian once more. Together, we fight with all the strength and skill we can muster, determined to survive this nightmare at any cost. But even as we battle against the unnatural creature, I can feel the ledge beneath our feet starting to crumble, the stone shifting ominously with every passing second.
I know that we need to find a way out of here, and fast. The Guardian is too powerful for us to defeat on our own, and the chamber is collapsing around us with each passing moment.
