Round 405 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As I glance back at Varikka, her injured ankle throbbing with each step, I realize we're running out of time. The tunnel's walls are closing in on us, and the air is thick with dust and the smell of decay. We need to keep moving forward. Suddenly, a loud crack echoes through the passage, and the ground beneath our feet gives way, sending a section of the tunnel wall tumbling down. We're forced to scramble for cover, our hearts racing with fear as we realize we're trapped in a growing sinkhole. The rubble rains down around us, threatening to crush us. New detail: The sound of rushing water has faded into the distance, replaced by the ominous creaking of ancient stone and the soft hiss of escaping air from the tunnel.
My heart is pounding in my chest as we scramble for cover, the rubble raining down around us. I can see the fear in Varikka's eyes as she struggles to her feet, her injured ankle throbbing with each step.
I take a deep breath and try to calm myself, knowing that panic will only make things worse. We need to keep moving forward if we want to survive this nightmare.
I glance around at our surroundings, taking in the narrow ledge we're standing on and the crumbling walls closing in on either side of us. The sound of rushing water has faded into the distance, replaced by the ominous creaking of ancient stone and the soft hiss of escaping air from the tunnel.
I know we can't stay here. The ground is shifting beneath our feet, and I can feel the weight of the stone pressing down on us from above. We have to find a way out, or else we'll be crushed like insects beneath the collapsing tunnel.
I turn to Varikka, my eyes meeting hers with a sense of determination. "We need to keep moving," I say, my voice tight with urgency. "The tunnel is collapsing, and we don't have much time."
Varikka nods, her jaw set with resolve as she grips her crowbar tightly. Together, we start to make our way deeper into the tunnel, our hearts pounding in our chests as we pray that we'll find some way out of this nightmare alive.
