Merrin's eyes are fixed on the door, her hand still grasping the rusty metal as if it might provide some kind of protection. Varikka stands beside her, her mace at the ready, scanning the shadows for any signs of movement. The whispers seem to be growing louder, more urgent, but Merrin can't quite make out what they're saying. Varikka's voice is tight with urgency as she speaks, "Merrin, we need to get moving - now.
