Round 362 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

The Glowing-eyed creature lunges again, its screech echoing off the stone walls. I block its path with the heavy mace, but it clatters to the ground once more. The creature hesitates, and Varikka seizes this opportunity to pull herself up onto the narrow ledge. However, her injured hand throbs in pain as she finds a foothold on the ledge. As Varikka stabilizes herself, I notice that the water pressure is increasing exponentially, causing the stone floor to crack and shift ominously. The unstable footing on the crumbling passage floor makes every step a precarious one, and I can feel the ledge creaking beneath Varikka's weight. "Merrin, we need to move now!" Varikka calls out, her voice strained with effort. "We can't stay here! The creature will come for us again!"
I nod quickly, my eyes darting between Varikka on the ledge and the Glowing-eyed creature circling the room. "You're right," I call out, my voice strained. "We can't stay here. But we need to be careful - the whole damn place could come down on top of us at any moment."
I scan the chamber frantically, looking for any way out. The water continues to rise, lapping at my ankles as I search. Suddenly, I spot a narrow tunnel opening in the far wall, just above the reach of the rising water.
"There!" I shout, pointing to the tunnel. "We might be able to make it if we move fast enough!"
I start to make my way towards the tunnel, my feet slipping on the crumbling stone floor. The Glowing-eyed creature lunges at me, its screech echoing off the walls, but I manage to dodge its attack, stumbling forward into the tunnel.
"Varikka!" I call out, my voice echoing in the narrow space. "Get your ass in here before that thing comes after us again! We've got to find a way out of this place before it's too late!"
I peer back into the chamber, my heart racing as I see Varikka struggling to make her way towards me. The ledge is crumbling beneath her feet, and I can hear the ominous creaking of stone as the water pressure increases.
"Hurry!" I shout, my voice desperate. "We don't have much time!"
I turn back to the tunnel, my mind racing as I try to think of a way out. The passage is narrow and winding, with no obvious exit in sight. But we have no choice - we have to keep moving forward if we want to survive.
As Varikka struggles to make her way towards me, the ledge crumbling beneath her feet, I hear an ominous crack echo through the chamber. The stone floor shifts beneath my feet, and I can feel the tunnel walls starting to tremble.
"Varikka!" I shout, my voice strained with urgency. "We need to move now! This whole damn place is coming down!"
I reach out a hand to help her into the tunnel, my eyes darting back and forth between her and the Glowing-eyed creature circling the chamber. We have no choice - we have to keep moving forward, even if it means facing whatever dangers lie ahead.
As Varikka pulls herself into the tunnel, I feel the ground shift beneath our feet once more. The walls seem to close in around us, and I can hear the ominous creaking of stone as the chamber begins to collapse.
