A section of the wall behind her collapses, sending a shower of debris crashing down onto the creatures. The impact is massive, and the creatures are sent stumbling back, momentarily blinded by the dust. The sound of rushing water grows louder, and Merrin knows that time is running out - she must decide how to proceed before the structural collapse becomes catastrophic.
