Round 219 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Merrin catches her breath on the narrow ledge, she notices that the creatures above her seem to be hesitating, their glowing eyes fixed on something behind her. She turns her head to see a faint light emanating from the depths of the pit, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The light grows brighter, illuminating a large stone door with intricate carvings, partially hidden by the darkness. The creatures' hesitation seems to be due to the door's presence, and Merrin realizes that it might be her only chance to escape. However, as she approaches the door, she hears the sound of grinding stone from above, signaling that the structural collapse is getting worse. The ground beneath her ledge gives a slight tremble, and Merrin must decide whether to investigate the door or prepare for an imminent fall. (Merrin | Rogue)
I catch my breath on the narrow ledge, my heart still pounding from my narrow escape. The creatures above me seem to be hesitating, their glowing eyes fixed on something behind me. I turn my head to see a faint light emanating from the depths of the pit, casting eerie shadows on the walls.
As the light grows brighter, I can make out the shape of a large stone door, partially hidden by the darkness. The door is covered in intricate carvings, and I can see that it's slightly ajar, as if it hasn't been opened in centuries.
I know that I should be investigating this door, but something holds me back. The ground beneath my feet trembles slightly, and I can hear the sound of grinding stone from above. It sounds like the structural collapse is getting worse, and I know that I need to move quickly if I want to survive.
With a deep breath, I start to make my way towards the door, my hands scrabbling for purchase on the rough stone. The creatures above me seem to be hesitating, their glowing eyes fixed on me with an unnerving intensity. But I don't have time to dwell on their intentions. All I can do is keep moving forward, no matter what dangers lie ahead.
