Round 216 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

Merrin surges through the narrow opening in the wall, her arms and legs pumping furiously as she squeezes through the tight space. The creatures give chase, their bioluminescent markings casting an eerie glow on the walls as they pursue her. As she emerges on the other side, Merrin finds herself in a narrow, winding tunnel, the air thick with the stench of decay and rot. The tunnel stretches out before her, disappearing into darkness, but she can hear the sound of rushing water growing fainter, replaced by the distant rumble of falling rocks and the creaking of crumbling stone.
I gasp for air as I emerge from the narrow opening, my heart pounding in my chest. The tunnel stretches out before me, dark and foreboding, but I know that I can't afford to hesitate. With a deep breath, I begin to move, my feet splashing through the shallow water that covers the floor.
I can hear the sound of rushing water growing fainter behind me, replaced by the distant rumble of falling rocks and the creaking of crumbling stone. The air is thick with the stench of decay and rot, and I can feel the walls closing in around me as I move deeper into the tunnel.
But I don't have time to dwell on my fear. I have to keep moving, to keep pushing forward, no matter what dangers lie ahead. With a final glance over my shoulder, I turn and run, my feet splashing through the water as I sprint towards the unknown.
The tunnel twists and turns, leading me deeper into the bowels of the tower. The air grows colder with each passing moment, and I can feel the chill seeping into my bones. But I don't have time to stop, to rest, or to catch my breath. I know that I have to keep moving, no matter what it takes.
As I round a corner, I suddenly find myself face-to-face with a group of glowing-eyed creatures, their bioluminescence casting an eerie light through the darkness. They stare at me, their eyes fixed on mine with an unnerving intensity, and I can feel the heat of their gaze boring into me.
But I don't have time to be afraid. With a deep breath, I reach for my mace, my fingers curling around the cool metal handle. The creatures give chase, their movements fluid and graceful as they glide through the water, but I don't look back. I can't afford to. All I can do is keep moving, keep fighting, until I find a way to survive this hell.
