Round 166 Transcript

The water rises, threatening to engulf Merrin's head. She clings to a rocky outcropping, her mace slipping from her grasp. Varikka swiftly fires her Crossbow, blasting a hole in the water just inches from Merrin's face. The blast sends water flying in all directions, momentarily stalling the rising tide.

I feel my lungs burning, my muscles screaming as I cling to the rock formation, the water rushing past me in a torrent. Seraphine's familiar is still latched onto one of the tentacles, its small body thrashing wildly as it tries to keep the creature at bay. I can hear Varikka's voice, distant and distorted through the roar of the water, but I can't make out her words. All I know is that we're running out of time, that the water is rising faster than we can fight it.
