Merrin's staff casts a faint glow on the surrounding water, illuminating a narrow, winding tunnel ahead. The creature's tentacles writhe in response, but it does not attack. As they swim closer to the tunnel entrance, the water pressure increases, threatening to crush them beneath its weight. Suddenly, a faint humming noise emanates from within the tunnel, growing louder with each passing moment.

I tighten my grip on my staff, the crystal's glow casting an eerie light on the surrounding water. The creature's tentacles writhe in response, their slimy appendages reaching out like grasping fingers. But I do not let them intimidate me. No, we must keep moving, keep fighting, keep pushing forward towards the unknown. The humming noise grows louder as we approach the tunnel entrance, a faint vibration running through the water and setting my teeth on edge. I can feel it in my bones, a sense of danger that makes my skin crawl. But we have no choice. We must find a way out of this nightmare, or be crushed beneath the weight of the collapsing tower above.
