Round 95 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

Seraphine's staff illuminates the dark water, revealing a narrow, winding tunnel ahead. The creature's tentacles writhe in response, but it does not attack. Merrin and Seraphine continue to swim forward, their hearts pounding in unison as they navigate the treacherous passage. Water pressure increases with each stroke, threatening to crush them beneath its weight. Suddenly, a faint glow emanates from within the tunnel, casting an eerie light on the surrounding water.
I feel a chill run down my spine as we swim through the dark, icy waters, the creature's presence always lurking just out of sight. But then I see it - a faint glow emanating from within the tunnel ahead, casting an eerie light on the surrounding water. My heart leaps at the sight, a flicker of hope in the oppressive darkness. Could this be our way out? Our chance to escape this hellish place and breathe fresh air once again? But even as I feel the excitement building inside me, I can't shake the nagging feeling that something is wrong. The water pressure increases with each stroke, threatening to crush us beneath its weight, and the ground beneath us shudders ominously as the collapse continues above. I know we have to be careful, to keep our wits about us if we want to survive this nightmare. And so I push forward, my staff raised high, ready to defend myself at a moment's notice. The creature's tentacles writhe in the water beside us, their slimy appendages reaching out like grasping fingers, but I do not let them intimidate me. No, we must keep moving, keep fighting, keep pushing forward towards the unknown. Towards whatever fate awaits us at the end of this nightmare. And so I swim on, my heart pounding in my chest, my lungs burning for air. But I know that we are so close now, so close to freedom. And I will not let anything stand in our way. Not even the darkness itself.
