Round 80 Transcript
Episode 1 · Episode Round 1

As Seraphine approaches the narrow opening in the wall, she hears the sound of rushing water grow louder. The air is thick with the smell of damp stone and something metallic, making her stomach churn. Suddenly, a faint light flickers from within the passage, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The creatures' cries echo in her ears, a haunting reminder of the horrors she left behind. She knows she should be looking for a way out, but the pull of the unknown is too strong to resist. As she steps forward, the water laps at her calves, cold and insistent. A faint rustling noise comes from deeper within the passage, followed by the sound of scraping stone. The ground trembles beneath her feet, and Seraphine realizes that whatever is making the noise is moving closer. She must decide whether to investigate the source of the sound or retreat back to the platform, where Merrin and Varikka are waiting.
My heart races as I hear the sound of rushing water grow louder from within the narrow passage ahead. The air is thick with the smell of damp stone and something metallic, making my stomach churn. I know I should be looking for a way out of here, but the pull of the unknown is too strong to resist. As I step forward, the water laps at my calves, cold and insistent.
Suddenly, a faint light flickers from within the passage, casting eerie shadows on the walls. The creatures' cries echo in my ears, a haunting reminder of the horrors we left behind. I know we're not safe yet, but the promise of answers draws me forward.
As I approach the opening, I hear a faint rustling noise coming from deeper within the passage, followed by the sound of scraping stone. The ground trembles beneath my feet, and I realize that whatever is making the noise is moving closer. I must decide whether to investigate the source of the sound or retreat back to the platform, where Merrin and Varikka are waiting.
I hesitate for a moment, my hand poised at the edge of the opening. The water swirls around my ankles, cold and unforgiving, but I ignore it. My mind races with possibilities, each one more terrifying than the last. What if whatever is making that noise is something even worse than the creatures we just encountered? What if it's a trap, set to lure us deeper into this labyrinth of death and madness?
But even as these thoughts swirl through my mind, I know I can't turn back now. We've come too far, fought too hard, to let fear hold us back. Merrin and Varikka are depending on me to find a way out of here, and I won't let them down.
I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what I know must come next. And with that, I step forward into the unknown, my heart pounding in my chest as I disappear into the darkness beyond.
