In Merrin's own words
I'm Merrin Quickstep, your halfling scout and lockbreaker. Don't let my small size fool you - I may be short in stature, but my eyes are keen and my hands are quick, perfect for picking locks and disarming traps that could spell disaster for the rest of our adventuring party. I've got a knack for spotting hidden motives and profitable opportunities too, though I try not to let the promise of treasure blind me to the dangers that lurk in the shadows of these crumbling ruins. When the darkness presses close, I like to crack a joke or two to keep the mood light - laughter's better than screaming in my book. So if you need someone to scope out the lay of the land, pick your locks, and make sure we all come out alive at the end of the day, I'm your girl. Just don't expect me to be the hero - I'd rather slip through a shadowy doorway unnoticed than face down an ancient evil head-on any day.
